Hi! I’m Bree and this blog will be called Keeferontheroad.

I am a Fibromyalgia patient who recently received news that I may be in a wheelchair soon due to joint degeneration. My husband and I have decided to make every moment count. We bought an RV, are giving nearly everything we own to charity or family, and will be hitting the road to see all the things in this great country which I have dreamed of seeing for so long.

I’m a writer, artist and photographer as well. In this blog I plan to talk about the trip, the people I meet, the inspiration I find, the chalenges of being on the road with Fibromyalgia and anything else that seems noteworthy on the road. I’ll be posting photos of my travels as well.

We pick the RV up from the dealer tomorrow. Today my mother and step-grandfather came over to take a load of things to Sister Carmen’s, a local charity and thrift store. Slowly but surely we are getting our ld place emptied out. We are going to take our three cats, Othello, Angel, and Stormy Monday with us. All of them walk on a leash, so hopefully they will adjust to the new way of living. I am very excited about my new life. I try to live remembering that I have a disease called fibromyalgia, but that does not have to define my life. Fibromyalgia will not ever posess me.

I hope you will enjoy sharing my trip with me. We hope to be leaving Colorado by April, but we will be living in the RV full time by January 31st. Our first planned stop after leaving Colorado… The Grand Canyon for my husband and I’s one year anniversary/honeymoon (our first honeymoon was only 3 days, so we want to make up for it Kiss)
